Maria Kaliambou

Maria Kaliambou, senior lector in the Hellenic Studies Program, was awarded a fellowship by the Greek Diaspora Fellowship Program (GDFP) to travel to Greece to work with University of Athens and Professor Vassiliki Chryssanthopoulou on “Folklore in the Greek Diaspora”: collaborative research leading to publishing life narratives of diaspora Greeks contained in the Folklore Museum and Archives‚ Department of Philology; mentoring students in research and essay writing on Folklore and the Greek Diaspora; curriculum co-development to produce graduate course on Folklore in the Greek Diaspora.
