Eric is an economist and a lecturer. He completed both a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and an MPhil degree in Economics at University of Ghana. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in Development Economics. His research focuses on Mobile Money technology in Ghana. A recent PhD fellow with UNU-WIDER at Helsinki, Eric has lectured in Economics at the undergraduate level since 2011. He is a former employee of Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER) and has worked on mutiple economic surveys. He has consulted for and assisted various institutions (AGRA, MDF West Africa, EMOS consultancy, Ernst and Young, etc) which work directly with local government on national and transnational projects.
