Agustina Ordoñez has a diverse profile, as she is particularly interested in politics, journalism, gender equality and world peace. She will graduate with a Master’s degree in Journalism at Universidad de San Andres, Argentina, in 2021. She studies social media legislation, focusing primarily on four axes: privacy, algorithm, freedom of speech and advertising. As a journalist, Agustina has written articles related to social media as well as social inequality, gender equality and politics for different newspapers in Latin America. Furthermore, Agustina took part in an internship at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. She worked at the Conference of Disarmament that advocates for a world without weapons and peace. She is currently the chief advisor to a congressman in Argentina. She is in charge of organizing meetings with a political agenda, drafting bills and laws and advising the congressman regarding a wide variety of topics. In 2019, Agustina was selected out of 300 candidates as a Leading Woman of the Southern Cone by the NGO Vital Voices Argentina (VVA). After that, she became a foundational member of Club Alumni, a network that promotes women’s leadership.
