Kacem El Guernaoui

I am a Postgraduate Associate with the Yale Research Initiative on Innovation and Scale (Y-RISE). I am also part of the 2022-2023 cohort of the Tobin Center pre-doctoral fellows. Prior to joining Y-RISE, I worked as a Senior RA at the Morocco Employment Lab (MEL), a joint research initiative between J-PAL and EPoD which aims at creating a culture of evidence-based policy in Morocco. As part of the MEL, I worked on implementing an RCT in partnership with Moroccan the public employment service. Before joining the MEL, I worked in economic consulting at Compass Lexecon. I hold a B.A. in Social Science and Middle Eastern Studies Cum Laude and a MSc. in Economics from Sciences Po Paris.
