Ines Ayostina graduated with a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of Environment in 2022, where she got a dual specialization in industrial ecology and energy. Her research at Yale spans across circular economy and climate change issues. Ines’ current work focuses on enabling Industrial Symbiosis, where waste and by-products from one industry became a resource for another, specifically the organizational aspects and its policy process. Ines writes occasionally on Clean Energy Finance Forum at Yale Center for Business and Environment (CBEY), Greenbiz, Yale Environmental Review, and World Resources Institute blog. Ines is Yale’s Kerry Fellow and Ellen’s Circular Economy Pioneer Fellow. She is also part of the Yale team and Indonesian delegation for COP26 UNFCCC in Glasgow, UK. Prior to Yale, Ines worked at World Resources Institute where she researched and designed programs to advance the climate-ocean agenda. She is from Indonesia where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).
