Ekaterina Zubova has been studying at Lomonosov Moscow State University since 2013. In 2017, she received a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Political Science. In 2019, she enrolled in the Faculty of Economics, where she graduated with honors. Her Master Thesis, “The impact of political institutions on sovereign debt risks,” won first prize in a competition of Master’s Theses in her faculty. In the same year, she won a competition for young teachers at the Department of Economics. She is currently a Ph.D. student in the Demography specialty in the Department of Economics. In addition, she was the captain of the Lomonosov Moscow State University team on Econometrics for the Econometric Games (an International Olympiad). In 2020-2021, she worked as the Executive Director of the Association of Russian Economic Think Tanks, a non-profit organization which brings together 36 Russian economic think tanks from Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Perm, Ekaterinburg, and Vladivostok.
