Trang Pham has obtained her bachelor’s degree in English Studies at Hanoi University and Teaching certificate at Hue University. She is pursuing her master’s degree in English Teaching Methodology at University of Languages and International Studies (ULIS). Before joining Yale as a Foreign Language Teaching Assistant, Trang has been working as an English teacher at Nguyen Binh Khiem school. Her favorite teaching method is project-based and culture-based approach which allows students to learn language through a variety of hands-on learning activities and cultural experiences. Apart from teaching, she has worked as an English tour guide at Hanoi Free Tour, a social non-profit organization (HFTGs) with a hope of sharing Vietnamese culture to foreign tourists and broadening her horizon. Her eagerness for learning U.S culture and getting involved in this diverse culture while teaching Vietnamese at Yale are her top priorities. Besides, she has a great interest in books, music, museums, sport (Da cau) and volunteer activities. She has long hoped to partially give hands to bridge any gap between Vietnam and the U.S through her best of knowledge and ability. She strongly believes in the power of sharing.
