Mateusz Grochowski will graduate from the Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program at Yale Law School. His research interests focus on contract law and regulation of the market, in particular the theoretical and policy dimensions of electronic commerce. He is also a Fellow in the Information Society Project (Yale) and Lead Editor/Submission Editor in Yale Journal on Regulation. Prior to Yale he obtained his Ph.D. cum laude from the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences and has been working as an analyst for the Civil Chamber of the Polish Supreme Court and as a researcher and lecturer in the European University Institute (Florence) and University of Trento (Italy). He published a book on the theory of private law and several articles, including contributions to numerous highly-recognized European private law reviews. He received distinguished academic honors, including the prize for the best Polish Ph.D. dissertation in private law.
