Leslie Gross-Wyrtzen

Leslie Gross-Wyrtzen obtained her PhD in Geography from Clark University. Her work explores how European border enforcement in Morocco impacts West and Central African migrants’ daily lives and mobilities. She focuses on the relationship between racialization and informality in containing migrants beyond European territory, and the sorts of counter-projects migrants mobilize against the border.
