Alice Neusiedler is a Phd candidate at the Department of Management, Politics and Philosophy at Copenhagen Business School. Her research explores participative art practices. Alice researches ways of organizing and collaboration within participative art projects, processes of meaning production, and political and social implications of those projects. She is especially interested in the relation of the involved actors, social practices within those projects, and more generally in the interrelation of the art field and the social, in social inequalities and potential of social change. Alice holds a master degree in sociology and a master in theatre, film and media studies, both from the University of Vienna. Before joining CBS for her PhD, Alice worked as a research associate at the University of Luxembourg, evaluating the reform of the Luxembourgish law on social aid. Alice is intrigued by qualitative research methods and methodology, feminist and intersectional approaches to research, and practice theory. She is also passionate about cake and dancing.
